Shot by shot
You are given shapes made of blocks and place them on a grid by pressing and dragging. When a row or column is complete it clears, which gives you space back.
Each piece has to go somewhere, so the skill is thinking about where the next shapes will fit. The score rewards planning each piece rather than placing quickly.
Inputs, one by one
- Press and dragMove a shape onto the grid
- ReleasePlace the shape
Small advantages
- Fill rows and columns from one edge so that gaps stay in one place.
- Look at all the available shapes before you place the first one.
- Leave room for the awkward shapes, because they are the ones that end the game.
- Do not clear a line at the cost of cutting the grid into small pockets.
- Take your time; speed is not what the score rewards.
Who gets along with it
Players who like a calm puzzle they can pick up and put down.
Drawbacks, plainly
- NoteA full board ends the game, and one careless placement can cause it.
- NoteDragging on a small screen needs a steady finger.
