Shot by shot
You move through arenas of an ancient temple, jumping between platforms and picking up weapons such as shotguns and rocket launchers. The loop is to shoot, dodge and survive.
There are three ways to play: solo, one against one, or co-op with a friend. In two-player modes both players share the keyboard, each with their own set of keys, so you can start a match without any setup.
Inputs, one by one
- Arrow upJump, press again to double jump (one player)
- Arrow left / rightMove (one player)
- Arrow downPick up a weapon (one player)
- ZShoot (one player)
- XSwitch weapon (one player)
- W, A, S + CPlayer 1 in two-player mode: move, shoot
- VPlayer 1 switches weapon
- Arrow keys + KPlayer 2: move and shoot
Small advantages
- Use the double jump to cross gaps, not only to escape; it also helps you avoid a rocket.
- Pick up a weapon as soon as you can; moving down onto it is quick and leaves you armed.
- In co-op, agree who covers which side of the arena, otherwise you will both chase the same target.
- Switch weapons deliberately; a shotgun is not the best choice at long range.
- If you play two players on one keyboard, check that your hands are not sharing keys before the match starts.
Who gets along with it
People who want a game they can play alone or with a friend, on the same screen.
Drawbacks, plainly
- NoteThe theme is shooting; consider that for younger players.
- NoteThe two-player key layout needs a shared keyboard and can be crowded.
- NoteOn a phone or tablet the key layout described on Poki is for a keyboard, so a computer is the comfortable option.
- NotePoki may show advertising around its games; that is part of Poki, not this site.
